Ms. Sam has always had a passion for helping others and watching the progress and development when working with children. Ms. Sam received an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida and then went on to pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine! Ms. Sam has experience as a behavior therapist in clinic, school and in home as well as two years experience as an OT working with children in clinic with a focus on sensory integration, emotional regulation, and independence in daily activities. Ms. Sam loves working on the beautiful island of Oahu and meeting all of the wonderful families. She loves to go to Kailua beach and boogie board, hike, and go on walks with her dog. Her favorite game is Noodle Knockout (gifted by her Mom) and she loves working with her clients on the scooter board and platform swing!

Tialla Stallings-Alailima
Tialla, originally from Maui, recently moved back to Oahu from New York City with her husband and son. A pediatric occupational therapist since 2012, she has worked in various settings, including hospitals, schools, and sensory integration clinics. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington.
Tialla is dedicated to helping children build essential motor, sensory, and cognitive skills, empowering them to gain confidence and learn joyfully. Inspired by her mother’s disability, she strives to support families in understanding their children’s unique experiences so that they can function more fully and independently.
Tialla’s most treasured place on Oahu is the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden. She loves to explore art museums, parks, and good book stores. She also loves to be on, near, or in the water, especially at her top beaches of Waimea, Ko Olina, and Lanikai. Her go-to games are Jenga and Spot It, and her favorite therapy tools are the lycra swing, putty, and scented markers.

Sydney Cornwell
Sydney is from Greenville, South Carolina. She attended the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience before completing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Sydney is passionate about helping children build confidence and independence through meaningful, play-based experiences. During her clinical training, she gained experience in pediatric outpatient therapy, supporting children with sensory regulation, executive functioning, and developmental skills through creative, child-led interventions. She is committed to continuing her growth as a pediatric occupational therapist through ongoing education, mentorship, and specialized training at Cove.
Sydney recently moved to Oahu to begin her occupational therapy career and is excited to explore everything the island has to offer while finding her new favorite local food spot! She believes the best therapy happens when children feel safe, connected, and excited to participate. Whether she’s using bubbles to encourage movement, play-dough to build hand strength, playing cards to challenge executive functioning, or the platform swing to support sensory regulation, Sydney loves creating sessions that are engaging, playful, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her watercoloring, reading with her cat nearby, thrifting, or enjoying a day at the beach.
